Prison Ministry

Temple Baptist Church is proud to have been serving and ministering to the saved and lost men within the Texas and New Mexico corrections since 1999. Our involvement spurred with the help of the Rock of Ages Prison Ministry by providing volunteers to hold church services and one-on-one visiting within the dormatoriums. Soon after our involvement with the Rock of Ages, Temple Baptist Church set up monthly meetings with the surrounding area prisons in West Texas. We are currently running a Tuesday night worship every 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Dick Ware Unit in Colorado City, Tx. We have also recently added a monthly Spanish class at the Ware Unit held every 1st Monday.

We have continued our involvement with providing volunteers with the Rock of Ages Prison Ministry and help host multiple meetings yearly within multiple units in West Texas and New Mexico. Our primary contact is with Bro. Mark Beha of the Rock of Ages and we are proud to serve along side him for the cause of Christ.
